IT AINT EASY TO BUY A BIKE DURING COVID-19
I have always ridden MTBs since I was little. My big brother got me into off-road cycling, I recall the best parts of my childhood on dirt road adventures with him.
Pretty casual cyclist, I tend to prefer decent suspension and forks, look for grip shift gears and nice chunky tyres that could make way down small hills.
Cycling (whilst social distancing) during quarantine has become extra special, it’s one of the very few things that took me years to learn about myself, that it’s something that actually makes me happy (as opposed to material things, people or just exercising), helps to curb anxiety and keep symptoms of depression at bay. My former Head of UX I worked with described it as ‘part zen’ and I honestly think that's the best description.
There is unlimited freedom in the wheels, the opportunity to go faster and build speed is always exhilarating, the things you ‘see’ whilst out on a bike are at times unique to that journey.
My hybrid MTB recently got stolen, I soon learnt IT AINT EASY TO BUY A BIKE DURING COVID-19.
